PURPOSE: To display desired character information to be reported from a KARAOKE shop on the display device of a KARAOKE terminal in each room at the KARAOKE device. CONSTITUTION: Lyrics data and music data are stored in a music storage device provided in a centralized control room S of a KARAOKE shop K, and the music data read from this music storage device are transmitted through a LAN 10 to plural KARAOKE terminals 5 provided in the other rooms. At each KARAOKE terminal 5, a music signal reproducing the music data received from this LAN 10 through a music reproducing circuit and a singing voice inputted from a microphone are synthesized by a voice synthesizer and broadcasted from a speaker as a synthetic signal. According to the lyrics data received from the LAN 10, a character pattern generated by a character generating circuit and background image data read from a separately provided video storage device are synthesized by a video synthesizer and displayed on a video display device. This KARAOKE device is provided with a keyboard 1 for inputting a document to the centralized control room S, display part 2 for displaying this document and CPU for editing the document. The prepared document is stored in the music storage device, sent through the LAN 10 to the video display devices in the respective rooms and displayed. |
