摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of a brake device, to reduce the manufacturing cost, and to realize the miniaturization by employing a differential screw mechanism in a brake actuator to advance/retract a friction member to/from a member to be braked. CONSTITUTION: When an output shaft 107 of a motor 104 is driven forward, an anchor nut 111 to be screwed with a threaded part 105 of a screw shaft 108 is advanced in the axial direction of the output shaft 107 relative to a supporting structure according to the screw pitch by a feed screw part 109. An operating nut 115 to be screwed with a threaded part 106 of the shaft 108 is moved on the shaft 108 according to the screw pitch of the threaded part 106. Because the screw pitch of the threaded part 105 is different from that of the threaded part 106, the shaft 108 and the nut 115 are reversely moved to each other on the axis, and advance a pressing body 114 in the axial direction by the distance according to the difference in the screw pitch. The braking force is applied by holding a disk rotor 102 between pads 101a, 101b by the advancement.</p>
