PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition having high dissolution rate and improved absorbability and easily formable in the form of pharmaceutical preparation by adsorbing γ-oryzanol and/or unsaponified soybean to a porous substance. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition is produced by dissolving γ-oryzanol in a halogen-containing solvent (e.g. methylene chloride), adsorbing the solution to a porous substance (e.g. calcium silicate) and evaporating the solvent. As an alternative, this composition is produced by dissolving γ-oryzanol and unsaponified soybean in ethanol heated at 40-80 deg.C, adsorbing the solution to a porous substance and evaporating the solvent. The amount of the porous substance used as the adsorbent is 0.5-100 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of γ-oryzanol and unsaponified soybean. γ-Oryzanol and unsaponified soybean adsorbed to porous substance have amorphous state to increase the solubility and improve the absorbability through digestive tracts. |
