PURPOSE: To obtain a pigment dispersion, containing a blue pigment and an anthraquinone-based pigment, having high spectral characteristics, good in contrast and capable of forming a highly accurate blue picture element image. CONSTITUTION: This pigment dispersion contains (A) a blue pigment (e.g. C.I. Pigment Blue 15:6) and (B) an anthraquinone-based pigment, preferably a pigment of the formula (X and X' are each H or a halogen) (e.g. C.I. Pigment Blue 60) and preferably further (C) an ethylenic compound (e.g. dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate), (D) a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. Michler's ketone) and (E) an organic polymeric substance. Furthermore, the components (A) and (B) are preferably used at (2:1) to (6:1) weight ratio of the components (A):(B). |
