<p>PURPOSE: To increase the accuracy of the measurement of flow rate by enhancing the responsiveness and to feed fuel by a pump in a fuel supply apparatus of engine. CONSTITUTION: An air vent pipe 24 is erected and installed at a T-connection part 11 at a branch pipe 31a in a fuel pipe passage. A solenoid valve 25 is installed at the upper end of the air vent pipe 24. A float 26 is made to float on a liquid level 27 inside the air vent pipe 24. A magnet scale 28 which comprises a magnetic graduation 28a is suspended at the float 26. The movement of the magnetic graduation 28a is detected by a magnetic sensor 30 installed at the pipe wall of the air vent pipe 24, and a liquid-level height is detected. When the liquid level 27 is lowered down to a first height, the solenoid valve 25 is opened, and air is discharged. When the liquid level 27 is lowered down to a second height, the solenoid valve 25 is closed.</p> |
