<p>PURPOSE: To provide a sheet carrying device in which carrying passages of sheets can be securely held. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a middle plate 7 as a placement part on which sheets of recording paper are placed to be movably supported between a feed position and a stand-by position, a feed roller 1 as a feed means to feed the recording paper placed on the middle plate 7 when it is at the feed position, a can 33 as a moving means to move the middle plate 7 between the feed position and the stand-by position, and a spring clutch 3 as a driving force transmission control means to control transmission of driving force to the feed roller 1. The spring clutch 3 comprises a can 33 integrated to disconnect transmission of the driving force to the feed roller 1 when the middle plate 7 is moved by the can 33 almost to reach the stand-by position, and after this integration, the spring clutch 3 is installed on a device main body.</p> |
