<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data segmentation in a re-negotiation bit speed service transmission system. SOLUTION: Either a re-negotiation variable bit rate(RVBR) network 202 or a re-negotiation constant bit rate(RCBR) network is adopted, and a data transmitting speed between a transmission side and reception side rapidly re- negotiates as the function of previously stored data transmitting speed information and system buffer level in those networks. This system and method can be easily executed in the existing CBR or VBR network architectures. In those RCBR and RVBR networks, an intelligent data traffic management system for responding to a speed at which a new call or request for connection is inputted to a network and outputted from the network, the frequency and continuous time of extended peak speed data burst, and the frequency of data transmission peak in a short continuous time, can be put into practice.</p> |
