<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure optimum air conditioning action in response to conditions by detecting information concerning humans, positions, and movement distances from a plurality of detection regions, and outputting a control signal in response to the information. SOLUTION: A signal detection input section 20 includes substantially three signal detection regions A, B, and C including optical shielding means 23 provided between a pair of Fresnel lenses 22, 22' disposed parallely at a predetermined interval on a printed circuit board 21. The signal detection input section 20 detects information such as the number of persons, positions, and movement distances actually existent in a room based upon input signals from the three detection regions A, B, and C through Fresnel lenses 22, 22', and outputs a signal indicative of the information through a signal processing circuit section 30, and instructs action of an air conditioner in response to the output signal. As a result, optimum air conditioner action in response to conditions is achieved.</p> |
