PURPOSE: To provide a watering-type hydroponic apparatus capable of the year-round culture of a soft vegetable such as spinach even in a warm district without using a large scale apparatus using a power source or a root chamber at a low cost and easy in cultivating and harvesting works. CONSTITUTION: This hydroponic apparatus is composed of supporting members 1, a water tank 2 which is held by the supporting members 1 at a specified height from the ground surface G and whose outer peripheral surface is exposed to the outer air, a lid 3 which is placed at the opening 21 of the water tank in a tightly closable state and a water-supplying sheet 32 having capillarity which extends from the upper face of the lid to the bottom of the water tank through a cut slot 30 made in a line of at least one or more than one in the longitudinal direction of the lid in a through state from the obverse face to the reverse face. The water tank is made of a material having flexibility, water- pressure resistance and moisture permeability at the place of at least the part of the cut slit. |
