<p>PURPOSE: To provide a stabilizer whereby a fluorescent lamp is instantaneously lighted to always hold fixed illuminance even against the fluctuation of input voltage and to enable a life of the fluorescent lamp to extend, by supplying reted voltage after lighting with secondary voltage in prescribed ratio of the rated for specific seconds after switching-on a power supply. CONSTITUTION: After AC input voltage is converted into DC input voltage by a power supply rectifier circuit (b), in a power factor improving circuit (c), a power factor improving IC is used to decrease a reactive current, also to fixedly generate DC output voltage in order to fixedly hold illuminance of a discharge tube. Successively in a high frequency generating circuit (d), required high frequency voltage is generated by a self exciting half bridge circuit, further in a power supply circuit (e), this high frequency voltage is introduced to a tank circuit comprising a high frequency coil and a capacitor, to supply required preheat lighting power to the discharge tube. An input power supply noise preventing circuit (a), filtering noise generated from the high frequency generating circuit (d), is provided.</p> |
