PURPOSE: To obtain a highly accurate noncontact liquid level detector. CONSTITUTION: The liquid level detector is provided with a detector section 1 including an oscillating section, a sensor section and a reflected wave sensor section, a support 3 for supporting a container 2 containing a specimen L, a driver 12 for vertically shifting a support 11 supporting the detector section 1, and a driver 7 for vertically shifting a support 6 supporting a suction nozzle 7. The liquid level detector is further provided with a driver 13 for vertically shifting the suction nozzle 5, a controller 14 for controlling the operation of the suction nozzle 5, and a CPU 30 for controlling the operation of the drivers 7, 12, 13, the controller 14, and the like. |
