PURPOSE: To calculate and set an actually travelable route while sufficiently taking account of roads subjected to traffic control at the time of route guidance. CONSTITUTION: The map display comprises a CD block 5 loading a CD-ROM storing a map data including road information, and a remote control unit 20 for inputting the map data stored in the CD-ROM at an arbitrary point thereof along with the traveling condition data. When a map data is read out from the CD-ROM and displayed, a CPU 9 reads out the positional data at an inputted point out along with the corresponding traveling condition data from the traveling condition data memory area in an RAM 8. The traveling condition data thus read out is displayed at a monitor block 6 while being matched with the position designated by the map data. |
