TILT MECHANISM FOR INCUBATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a position of an incubator at a desired tilt angle by easily tilting an infant care apparatus at a desired tilt angle in such a manner that a first link means and a second link means cross each other to form an X between the links. SOLUTION: An infant care incubator 10 is placed on a horizontal position and the position is retained by a tilt mechanism 12. The tilt mechanism 12 includes one set of links, a first link 24 and a second link 26 which cross each other to form an X against the links. Same sets of the crossed links are also provided at the back of the incubator 10. These separate sets of the crossed links are used and positioned opposite to each other. The sets of the crossed links are positioned near the front and back of the infant care incubator 10 to lift up and down the head of an infant against its foot in such a way that a tilt of the infant care incubator 10 is occurred along its length to tilt the infant in the incubator.
