PURPOSE: To provide a solar power generation system which can stably be actuated even when its main circuit part is of simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: The solar power generation system which converts the output of a solar battery 1 into an alternating current by an inverter 2 has an OR circuit constituted on the output side of a short-circuit command circuit 11 and a gate signal generation part 10 and a short-circuit command pulse signal is supplied to the inverter 2 on condition that the inverter stops, thereby turning on two elements U and X of a couple of arms at the same time. A short-circuit current is detected and its peak value is compared with a set value by a comparing and holding part 12. The output of the comparing and holding part 12 when a set value found from characteristics of the solar battery 1 is exceeded is sent as an inverter ON signal and a short-circuit stop signal to a gate signal generation part 10 and the short-circuit command circuit 11 to actuate the inverter 2. Namely, the elements U and X of the couple of arms of the bridge of the inverter 2 are used for substitution for DC-side short-circuit switches to omit a dedicated short-circuit switch. |
