PURPOSE: To obtain a vibrating gyro which can be manufactured easily and detect rotational angular velocity with high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: The vibrating gyro 10 includes a vibrating body 12 of, for example, a regular triangular prism. Piezoelectric elements 14, 16 are formed on the two side faces of the vibrating body 12. The piezoelectric elements 14, 16 have divided parts. An electrode 20 is formed on one face of a piezoelectric layer 18, and half divided electrodes 22a, 22b are formed on the other face of the layer 18, thereby, the piezoelectric element 14 is obtained. Similarly, an electrode 26 is formed on one face of a piezoelectric layer 24, and half divided electrodes 28a, 28b are formed on the other face of the layer 24, thus constituting the piezoelectric element 16. |
