摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a three-dimensional object by supplying a layer of material to an upper side by means of a material feeding device having a coating device and a moving device and by solidifying the layer of the material by irradiation. SOLUTION: A solidification device 8 is provided with a radiation source formed as a laser generating a directional light beam 9. A deflection mirror 10 is directionally set by a rotary device 11 so that the directional light beam 9 is reflected by the mirror 10 and that the reflected light beam 12 can be directed essentially to an arbitrary point on a working surface 7. Also, a material feeding device including a coating device 16 is arranged in the upper part of a container 1, while the coating device 16 extends essentially across the upper opening of the container 1, with the lower edge of the coating device 16 inside the working surface 7. A displacement device 17, which is provided for the purpose of displacing the coating device 16 on a plane parallel to the working surface 7 and also parallel to the upper face 4 of a support 3, makes it possible for the coating device 16 to move from a position P1 opposite to the storage container of the container 1 to a position P2 in the upper part of the storage container and in the reverse direction.</p>
