PURPOSE: To provide a solenoid valve which can be concurrently used to serve as an antilock controlling actuator and a proportioning valve. CONSTITUTION: A brake fluid pressure is supplied to a wheel cylinder through a hole 20→input port 4→clearance between land part 7 and land part 11→output port 5, to perform proportioning action by a fluid pressure acting in a sectional area difference of a plunger and by a tension difference of springs 10, 14 when a fluid pressure from a master cylinder rises. When holding the fluid pressure, a low current flows in a coil 3 to slightly move a plunger 9, and the land parts 7, 11 are brought into contact, to interrupt communication between the input port 4 and the output port 5, to disconnect a ball valve storage space 13 from a discharge port 6 by a ball valve 15. When a pressure reduction signal is outputted, a high current flows in the coil to largely move the plunger 9, and the land parts 7, 11 are largely overlapped, to separate also the ball valve 15 from a valve seat 8, so as to connect the output port 5 to communicate with a reservoir through the discharge port 6.
