PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable air flow rate measuring apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The flow rate measuring apparatus comprises a main channel 2 and a sub-channel 3 for passing suction air, a heating element 4 and a temperature-sensing resistance element 5 arranged in the sub-channel 3 in order to measure the flow rate of air, and a circuit module part 10 equipped with a suction air temperature detection element and the compositional member of sub-channel 3, wherein the compositional member of sub-channel is provided with a member for protecting the suction air temperature detection element. With such structure, the highly reliable air flow rate measuring apparatus can be obtained.
