PURPOSE: To obtain an easily tearable packaging material which is excellent in cuttability along a straight line, low-temp. heat sealability, adhesive strength at a sealed part, etc. CONSTITUTION: An easily tearable packaging material having an infrared dichroic ratio of 1.2 or higher is obtd. by orienting a film obtd. from a compsn. comprising 100-20wt.%α-olefin (co)polymer and 0-80wt.% other olefin polymer. Theα-olefin (co)polymer is obtd. by (co)polymerizing anα-olefin in the presence of a catalyst contg. as the essential component a group IV transition metal compd. contg. a ligand having a cyclopentadienyl backbone and has a melt flow rate of 0.01-100g/10min. |
