PURPOSE: To provide a picture processing system which automatically determines the picture output device, which most suitably expresses the result obtained by subjecting individual pictures to a designated color matching processing, out of plural connected picture output devices. CONSTITUTION: The color matching processing allowing for color reproducing characteristics is performed in individual picture output devices, which are selected in a step S309, in a step S312 in accordance with the color matching method selected in a step S305. Respective picture output devices are evaluated in a step S313 by the evaluation method selected in a step S307, and the picture output device from which the most suitable output can be obtained by color matching is determined in a step S315, and it is outputted from this picture output device in a step S317. |
