PURPOSE: To certainly mold even a flat container high in flatness degree and having required strength by blow molding without especially generating a thin- walled part. CONSTITUTION: A flat container wherein the dimensional ratio of the cross-sectional shape of the flat surfaces and side surfaces of a body part is 1/2 or less is molded by blow molding. A parison composed of a thermoplastic resin is arranged between opened split type molds. Next, the split type molds 1 are clamped and slide molds 9 having the cavities molding the flat surfaces of the body part are advanced in the direction narrowing the opposed interval between them to flatten the parison 12. After the parison 12 is let almost conform to the shape of the cavity formed by the molds, a pressure fluid is introduced into the parison 12 to be expanded along the cavity of the molds 1 to mold a flat container. |
