A triphenylamine derivative, a charge-transporting material comprising the triphenylamine derivative, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a charge-transporting layer comprising the triphenylamine derivative are disclosed, wherein the triphenylamine derivative is represented by the following general formula (1): <IMAGE> (1) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, or an aryl group which may have a substituent, or R1 and R2 and/or R3 and R4 may be taken together to form a ring, and n represents 0 or 1.
