FIELD: woodworking. SUBSTANCE: circular saw for cutting wood into disks which are then used for assembling parquet covering shields, wall panels and face covering of furniture has base frame, sawing unit with rotation drive, replaceable drum with basic attachments and feed drive. Basic attachment is actually a socket with longitudinal guide members in the form of strips and insert corresponding to lateral profile of blank and installed in lower part of drum. Device for setting blanks relative to saw shaft is adjustable as to height of articles and has a loading cam and size cam installed independently from each other under drum on columns with possibility for their adjustment and fixing in position in vertical plane relative to sawing unit which is provided with single saw blade. Blank clamping mechanism consists of spring-loaded clamps with rollers installed opposite to insert of each socket and contacting by its rollers with blank clamping control roller when blanks are released above loading cam and sizing cam. Blank clamping mechanism operates for clamping in zone between loading and sizing cams ensuring clamping of blanks of not less than pregiven size in height due to positioning of outcome portion of loading cam below its input portion.
