FIELD: electric welding. SUBSTANCE: binding agent for electrode coatings contains 78-82 wt % of alkali metal silicate aqueous solution in the form of unclarified product of opal-crysobalite rock leaching and 18-22 wt % of nondissolved precipitate containing (in wt % ): ferric oxide, 5-20; alumina, 5-15; calcium oxide, 1-10; water, 2-5; sodium oxide, 0.5-2; titanium oxide, 0.1-0.2; sulfur dioxide, 0.1-0.2; silica, the balance. EFFECT: increased performance specifications of binder, reduced cost, and increased fabricability of welding electrodes. |
