FIELD: production of precious metals. SUBSTANCE: blend contains precious metals in the form of ore, industrial product, or concentrate, and also contains collector and magnesium metal as reducing agent, contents of components being the following (in wt %): products containing precious metals, 50-60; magnesium, 9-27; collector, 10-30; fluxing agent, 8-16. As collector, naturally occurring copper and iron sulfides and oxides, and, as fluxing material, naturally occurring halides (for instance, fluorite) are advantageously used. Blend is heated to commencement of exothermal reaction, reaction products are dissolved in mineral acid solution, whereupon precious metals are isolated by known methods. Process may be used both in metallurgy and in analytical determination of precious metals. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. |
