METHOD OF GRINDING AND DRYING OF MATERIALS

FIELD: construction, mining, metallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: damp cement raw mixture is subjected to grinding by way of compression under high pressure in roll-type mill which produces agglomerate which is then fed into separator with desagglomerator. Drying of raw agglomerate is effected in separator where desagglomeration zone is located below centrifugal counterflow zone of separation, thus combining desagglomeration and first stage of material drying in ascending flow of hot gasses. Final drying of desagglomerated material in separator is effected in ascending gas and material flow between zone of desagglomeration and zone of centrifugal counterflow separation. Introduced in ascending gas and material flow between desagglomeration zone and centrifugal counterflow separation zone in separator are additional tangentially supplied gasses in amount required for effective counterflow separation. EFFECT: high efficiency.
