SUBSTANCE: ring-traveller couple has outer ring 1 and inner ring 2 installed coaxially with circular gas between them and traveller 7 in form of body of revolution with a through hole for passage of thread 9 and located in gas between rings 1 and 2 for motion in it round spindle by rolling or rolling with slipping. The profile of working surfaces of rings 1 and 2 and traveller 7 are made so that in working mode the thread tension force in balloon may turn over traveller 7 across direction of its motion that provides for its maximum speed and minimum wear, and also minimum force of thread tension and minimum level of its breakage.
