FIELD: chrome plating. SUBSTANCE: increase in versatility of process and possibility of simultaneously conducting milk, hard, and multylayer chrome plating on parts inside hollow anode is achieved by controlling temperature regime in the electrolysis process by changing electrolyte level in relation to anode top. In milk chrome plating, electrolyte level is positioned below anode top thereby creating therein closed electrolyte volume; whereas, in hard chrome plating, electrolyte level is established above anode top, thereby creating electrolyte circulation inside anode. In order to rapidly controlling and evenly maintaining temperature regime in electrolyte, chrome plating inside hollow anodes is carried out with loading density 0.8-1.1 l/sq. dm. Method may be used to apply corrosion and wear-resistant coatings. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of procedure. |
