FIELD: cooling enclosed locations (crane and electrified transport cabs) where air is to be cooled. SUBSTANCE: method involves cooling enclosed location by air intake from atmosphere, its expansion, followed by heat transfer with air passing through enclosed space, compression of cooling air, and its discharge into the atmosphere by means of electric drive; expansion is made at 45-65 kPa, heat transfer during cooling air discharge is 1.5-3 times lower than air discharge through space being cooled. Facility implementing this method has turbocompressor with electric drive whose turbine input communicates with atmosphere and output communicates through intermediate cooler with compressor input; compressor output also communicates with atmosphere; intermediate cooler is double-space regenerating heat exchanger whose second space is connected to location being cooled forming closed circulating air loop incorporating fan and filter placed in tandem. Turbocompressor and electric drive are mounted on common shaft with overhanging wheels; electric drive is built up of contactless valve-type air-cooled motor provided with static frequency changer. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency and operating reliability, reduced space requirement. |
