SUBSTANCE: simplified technology of producing electrode with core of high-melting-point metal due to exclusion of extrusion operation, and widened field of its application are achieved by making electrode in the form of steel rod with core diameter equal to 0.07-0.5 diameter of electrode. Core is made of high-melting-point metal-titanium zirconium. EFFECT: high efficiency.
