SUBSTANCE: furnace has shaft divided by partitions provided with through openings and by roof partition into loading, gas lift and gas separating chambers, roof and hearth, jacketed belt with tuyeres, siphon bypass channel with tail board and receiver. Ratio of section of under-roof through opening in vertical plane to section of opening between partition dividing the gas lift and gas separating chambers and roof partition in horizontal ranges from 0.5 : 1 to 1 : 1.5. Siphon bypass channel with tail board is located in area of through opening between hearth and partition dividing the gas lift and gas separating chambers. Area of roof partition is no less than area of through opening above partition dividing the gas lift and gas separating chambers. Recirculating channel is built in through opening between partition dividing the gas lift and gas separating chambers. The recirculating channel is used to connect gas lift and gas separating chambers. EFFECT: reduced dimensions of furnace, expenses and power requirements; reduced discharge of dust and increased extraction of valuable materials. 3 cl, 3 dwg
