A mixture of blood and lyse agent is prepared. Rays from a luminous source is directed towards the mixture and the light transmitted through the mixture is collected. The amount of light received is compared with a pre-determined step value. The lyse point is reached when the amount of light corresponds with the step value. In a supplementary phase the action of the lyse agent is blocked when the lyse point is reached. The system includes an optical device(9,10,11), which transmits a beam towards the blood sample(2), and has means for light reception(12). The system uses a comparator whose first input is fixed to a pre-determined step value and whose output is binary, either 0 or 1 when the lyse point is reached. |
