A height-adjustable system for suspending traffic lights consisting of the height-adjusting scale 1 for the lights, the clamp for fixing the scale 2, the collar clamp for the system 3 and the revolving bases of the lights 5 and 6. Through the four perpendicular adjustment screws 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d, for the illuminated field, the adjustment scale 1 is fixed on the fixing clamp 2 and adjusts the inclination of the adjustment scale 1 in respect of its vertical plane 1. The casing 11 of the traffic lights is located between the upper and lower revolving bases, 5 and 6, and their bodies 11 are able to rotate +90o in relation to the perpendicular axis of the adjustment scale 1. When the arm 14 of the mast 15 enters the inner curve of the collar 3 and is clamped within it by the clamping screw 9, the adjustment scale 1 is also clamped onto the arm with the system at the desired inclination in respect of the perpendicular axis of the road and at the same time the entire system is adjusted to remain always perpendicular in respect of the arm 14. By moving the height of the body of the scale 1 within the clamp 2, the corresponding height of the system in relation to the road surface can be achieved. Both the adjustment scale 1 and the clamp 2 have the shape of a parallelogram. |
