The thick section sheet casing (4) and base (1) of a driving wheel reducing hub for a high level tractor has its upper part fixed to the tractor axle (2). It contains the transmission chain (9) and control pinion in its upper part, the breather for avoiding air pressure and the driven pinion (5). It is sealed and contains lubrication oil. An eccentric monobloc plate (3) assembles the casing to the reduction hub (1). This hub has in its end the reduction gears. The chain tension is caused by rotation of the plate (3) and the eccentricity (8) between the chain and the driven pinion support is thus modified. The transmission shaft (2) of the reduction hub (1) has one end fluted which passes through the pinion (5). These flutings ensure transmission and rotation of the control shaft of the reduction hub
