The micro-filter consists of a housing (1) contg. an air filter (7) fed by a duct (4) and a water filter (6) fed by a duct (5), and separate outlets (10, 11) for the filtered air and water. Both sets of ducts are held in place by flanges (2, 12), and the lower end (3) of the housing is shaped to fit an instrument which is to be fed with the filtered air and/or water.
