Fibre flocking cleaning station

The appts. to clean fibre flocking material from opened bales of non-metal foreign matter, before spinning, has an optical sensor system (16), in front of the separation unit (18) which removes the unwanted material (E). Pref. the separation unit (18) is a blower. The optical sensor system (16) and the blower station (18) are between the metal detector (11) and the deflection (12, 12a, 12b) where the fibre flockings (C) drop by gravity between the metal detector (11) and deflector (12, 12a, 12b). A zone (14) defined by limit walls (14a, 14b) is between the metal detector (11) and deflector (12, 12a, 12b).
