Impermeable self-draining sheet underlay for the incontinent

This impermeable sheet underlay (1) for the incontinent, has a novel arrangement of perforations (3), with an attached tube descending from each, the upper ends (5) of the tubes terminating in a layer of the sheet. Pref. the tubes (4) are detachable, esp. held at the top, by a press fit into the underlay. The underlay may comprise two layers, the tubes fitted in the upper, and passing through holes in the lower. The tubes may be held in the lower layer, and drain hollow cavities in the upper surface. The tubes may be of a different material than the sheet layer(s). The tubes are pref. acid resistant, strong and incompressible.
