Coloured aq. liq. cleansing agent formulation (A) contains anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and/or zwitterionic surfactant, dyestuff, and 0.01 - 0.2 wt.% 1-hydroxy-4-methyl-6-(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)-2- (1H-)pyridinone (I) or its salt. Also claimed is the use of (I) for stabilising the colour of aq. liq. cleansing agents contg. surfactant and dye.
