Driverless transport system for in-factory buildings

The driverless transport system comprises a self-driven vehicle directed by guiding elements (7) according to instructions from a control unit. The guiding elements form a path for the vehicle, with the path divided by switching elements into steps. The control unit includes a step counter (1) for several steps, each of which (11) is connected to a selection board (3). Various vehicle functions can be set on the selection board for each step, and the passage of the vehicle past the steps is registered by the step counter. The selection board includes right and left hand drive functions (31,32) and a stop function (34) acting on the drive control, and a resetting function (35) acting on the step counter.
