Water-based ink jet printing material for high humidity resistance

Material for ink jet printing comprises: (1) a substrate with an ink-receptive coating on side(s); where: (i) the coating comprises a water soluble polymer of: (a) 20-89.9 wt.% OH-functional (meth)acrylate of formula (I); (b) 50-10 wt.% vinyl cpd. (II) with quat. ammonium gps.; and (c) 30-0.1 wt.% (meth)acrylate of mono- or polyhydric OH cpd. (III) with more than 3 C atoms. CH2=CR<1>-C(=O)-O-(CnH2n)-OH (I) R<1> = H or Me; and n = 2 or 3. Also claimed is use of the ink jet printing materials for printing with water-based inks.
