To a lower end of the holder part (24) is connected a crossways directed support component (26), which forms a support surface (30) for the cable support (2). The distance between the holder part and at least one side edge of the support component is such in relation to the distance between two wire components (14) located on opposite sides of the cable support central part. The cable support after connecting the holder part to the support surface can be placed on the support surface by being applied sideways and in an inclined position. The cable support is then pushed to a position in which the longitudinal wire components on opposite sides of its centre rest on the support component surface. The support component on its side edges has upwardly directed engagement surfaces which by engaging the longitudinal wire components prevent lateral displacement of the cable support.
