The air vent comprises a frame with lamella strips (6) combined into one set (5) which can be easily and detachably fitted into the frame. The lamella strips can be connected by a rail and can be fixed to the rail or rotatable on it. The lamella insert is fitted in by a quick-fit closure (17) comprising a rail (18) and closure strip (21) detachably connected together. The rail of the closure has a lug (19) engaging in a socket of the closure strip or frame. The closure strip can be fixed on a side wall of the frame by a detent element (22).
