Electronically commuted DC motor for driving model submarines

The DC motor comprises a rotor and an output shaft which are hermetically separated from the stator and control electronics, and run in an external pressure area. A disc-or drum-shaped rotor is pref. hermetically enclosed in the interior of the motor casing. The output shaft is pref. led through a reed trimming. A disc-shaped or tubular rotor may be arranged to lie freely in the outside area, and the stator with control electronics may be hermetically encapsulated.
