Clutch disc for friction clutch

The clutch disc has two control plates (18,19). These are of the same construction and positioned mirror-fashion, one on either side of the hub disc (8). The control tabs (23) of both plates are axially supported on each other via their front ends. They form a cage, free from axial forces, to accommodate an idling friction unit (32,33). The unit is located between the control plates and the insides of the cover plates (13,14). Stops (38) in apertures (37) of the hub disc limit the movement of the control tabs.
