INK SOURCE FOR AN INK DELIVERY SYSTEM

An ink source for an ink jet delivery system for a printer having a printhead. The system including a flexible bag (48) having a selected volume of ink therein (82), a coupler (90, 92, 94, 96) for coupling the bag to the printhead, and a container including a hold down portion (94, 96) for securing the coupler to the printhead. The container is inclined at an acute angle to cause the bag to be completely emptied of ink without premature introduction of gas into the system.
