Cleaning unit for toilet seat

The cleaning system for a WC having a seat (5) resting on the rim (4) of a bowl (2), has a peripheral duct (16) on the underside of the seat. The duct is pierced with holes for spraying water onto the inside of the bowl. A housing (6) is hinged to the back of the bowl and can be moved between raised and lowered positions. A peripheral spray bar (20) has outlets (21) for a cleaning/disinfecting liquid. A fan (26) produces a flow of drying air for drying the seat. The fan is linked to a diffusor (27) which directs the air towards the seat. The outlet holes in the duct are equipped with pressurised water nozzles (17). The duct is connected to a pressurised water flow. The rim of the toilet bowl is inclined inwards, and its diameter is slightly greater than that of the seat. The housing is equipped with a second spray bar (22) which delivers jets of a cleaning liquid onto the upper edge of the bowl rim. The housing is operated by a drive (8) linked to an electronic control unit.
