<p>A hydraulic control valve comprises a removable body 4 provided with connections for pressure, consumer and control lines 12, 13, 14 and accommodating a spool 6 and a loose ball 9. Energisation of a solenoid 10 moves the spool 6 which in turn lifts the ball 9 from its seat. The control line is initially closed upon movement of the spool 6. Flow from the pressure line 12 past the ball 9 acts on the spool in opposition to the solenoid, causing the connection between the lines 13, 14 to be reopened, thus providing leakage to the control line 14 so as to regulate the pressure in the consumer line 13.</p> |
