PURPOSE:To make a photosensitive layer smooth and uniform and to enable the formation of a high quality image by incorporating alkyl modified polysiloxane into the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive layer is formed on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain a sensitive body, alkyl modified polysiloxane is incorporated into the photosensitive layer by a proper amt. according to the kind, etc. The polysiloxane is preferably incorporated into at least one of layers constituting the photosensitive layer by 1X10<-5>-5wt.%, especially 1X10<-4>-1wt.%. In case of <1X10<-5>wt.%, the surface smoothness of the photosensitive layer is not satisfactory. In case of >5wt.%, the mechanical strength of the photosensitive layer is reduced. The photosensitive layer is made smooth and uniform and a high quality image can be formed. |
