PURPOSE:To make the printing dot on recording paper hard to be scraped off, by mounting a mechanism for applying pressure to printed solid ink. CONSTITUTION:Printing paper P is fed corresponding to the reciprocal movement of a carriage 1 by a rotating platen 3 and the ink droplet 11 emitted from a head flies corresponding to the recording signal sent to a recording apparatus to be adhered to the printing paper P wound around the platen 3. Because the ink droplet 11 has low head capacity and is solidified after the heat thereof is immediately taken by the printing paper P, each printing dot 12 adhered to the printing paper P forms a semispherical shape. When pressure is applied to said printing dot 12 using a roller 6, the printing dot 13 after pressure bonding is embedded in the printing paper P and the semispherical projection shape becomes flat. Because the solid ink is embedded in recording paper and the projection becomes gentle, the printing dot becomes hard to be scraped off even in such a case that recording papers are rubbed with each other. |
