The invention concerns an expanding anchor device for anchorage in a bore in a structural component. The expanding anchor device comprises a shaft which, at its rear end, comprises means for securing an object and, at its front end, at least one portion with a reduced cross-section adjoining an expanding cone. The shaft further comprises an expanding sleeve fitted over the reduced portion. In order to secure parts reliably in the tension zone, the beads (18, 19) on the expanding sleeves (11, 12) have one or a plurality of recesses (10) such that the rigidity of the beads (18, 19) is reduced and the device can be fitted more easily. The recesses can have the shape of a stamped circular bore.
